S³ implements HSE Management based on OHSAS 18001 and operates an ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System. Where required, sub-contractors are selected not only on a technical basis but also on the strength of their commitment to HSE and QA.

HSE Management

The system of Health and Safety management adopted by S³ is based upon the OHSAS 18001 system.

The Environmental system which has been adopted by S³ is based upon ISO 14001 which is subject to external audit.

Quality System

The Quality Assurance system implemented by S³ is based upon the principles laid out in ISO 9001:2008.

HSE Plan

The HSE plan provides the framework for:

• The formal identification and assessment of hazards during performance of the work together with the steps taken to control them and in the event of failure, recovery procedures.
• The implementation of HSE policies and procedures, in particular those contained in the S³ HSE manual.
